Two Arrested After Brutal Bottle Attack in Tunbridge Wells

Tunbridge Wells was rocked by a violent assault late on Wednesday night. A man was reportedly smashed over the head with a bottle before being kicked while on the ground.

Bottle Blows and Brutal Beating

Kent Police rushed to Goods Station Road at 11:40pm on 9 October following reports of a disturbance. Witnesses say one attacker struck the victim with a bottle, knocking him down. Both suspects then kicked the man repeatedly before fleeing the scene.

Suspects Caught and Held Over GBH

The following day, a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH). They remain in custody as police continue their investigation.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Kent Police are urging anyone with information about the attack to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
