Same Pair Nabbed Over Earlier Oldbury Rape
The suspects didn’t just stop there. Police linked them to another horrific rape on Tame Road, Oldbury, from September 9 and arrested them again this afternoon.
Both remain in custody as detectives dig deeper for solid evidence.
Outrage as Community Calls for Swift Justice
The Sikh Federation UK cautiously welcomed the arrests but slammed the delay in tackling the Oldbury assault.
“We hope there’s enough evidence to charge those responsible for these disgusting attacks,” said Inderjit Kaur.
Last month, the Sikh community rallied with protests and a vigil to support victims and battle violence against women.
Birmingham Edgbaston MP Preet Gill also voiced fears over rising hate crimes amid the turmoil. Crimestoppers has thrown a massive £20,000 reward into the ring for info leading to a conviction.
The victims’ families say they’ll never find peace until these criminals face justice.
