Violent Youth Clash Shakes Romford Station
Two youths hospitalised after a row erupted at Romford Railway Station in East London. The chaos unfolded around 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 27, prompting a swift emergency response.
Police and Ambulance Scramble to Scene
British Transport Police rushed to the station following reports of violence on the platform. A force spokesperson said:
“Officers were called to reports of an altercation between a group of youths at Romford Railway Station at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, 27 May. Officers attended, and the incident is currently under investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
Meanwhile, London Ambulance Service confirmed sending two ambulance crews. They treated two patients at the scene before rushing them to A&E. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and CCTV
No arrests have been made yet, but British Transport Police are urging anyone who witnessed the fracas to come forward. They’re especially keen on mobile or CCTV footage from the platform.
