Folkestone Fire Mystery: Police Hunt Arson Suspect

Police are on the case after a suspected arson fire broke out in Folkestone in the early hours of Tuesday, 25 February 2020.

Blaze Hits Richmond Street

Kent Police were called at around 2.20am following reports of a fire at a property on Richmond Street. Firefighters and ambulance crews rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze.

The fire was limited to the front door, but two residents were hospitalised as a precaution after suffering smoke inhalation.

Officers want to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from 1.30am to 2.45am around the area, or those who noticed anything suspicious.
