Inspector Vows to Nail Rural Crime Gangs

“Thanks to the work of the force’s roads policing unit and tactical support group, we’ve arrested two people linked to these thefts,” said Inspector Hayley Crawford, Bassetlaw District Commander.

“Working with South Yorkshire officers, we’ve also recovered several stolen vehicles. Vehicle theft in our rural communities is a top priority. We know how stolen vans and cars hurt local businesses and families. That’s why we’re relentless in tracking down those responsible.”

“This should send a clear message to criminals: our rural areas are not soft targets. We are listening, acting, and teaming up with partners to catch those who prey on our communities.”

“Our investigation is ongoing. Anyone with info should come forward — your tip could be the final piece to bring these offenders to justice.”
