Tragic End for Elderly Woman Attacked During Home Robbery
Joy Middleditch Found Seriously Injured
Joy Middleditch was discovered conscious but in a critical state at her Grayson Avenue home. She was rushed to hospital but sadly passed away on Monday, 27 March.
Police Called After Shocking Discovery
Officers arrived just after 1:50pm on Saturday, 25 March, responding to reports of an elderly woman found lying on the floor following a robbery.
Robbery Took Place Overnight
The horrifying incident is believed to have happened during the hours of darkness, sometime between the evening of Friday 24 March and early Saturday morning, 25 March.
