Two vehicles collided on Biddlesford Road in Newport this evening, causing havoc and a dramatic rescue mission. Emergency crews rushed to the scene where one driver was trapped inside their purple Island-registered Hyundai.
Firefighters Use Cutting Gear to Free Trapped Driver
Newport fire crews deployed specialist hydraulic cutters to slice off the roof of the Hyundai and free the driver. Meanwhile, the driver of the black 4×4 pickup was checked by paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment.
