Armed Police Lock Down Lambeth Estate After Shots Fired

Armed cops from the Met’s elite Trojan unit swooped on a Lambeth housing estate late Friday night after reports of shots fired. The drama unfolded just after 10.30pm on Moorland Road, Brixton.

Scene Sealed Off Near Primary School

Officers joined by paramedics quickly surrounded a property close to a primary school. Armed police kept residents locked out of their homes as they launched a major operation. A trained search dog was also deployed to sniff out clues amid the chaos.

No Injuries or Arrests Yet

Despite the frightening escalation, police confirmed no one was taken to hospital, and no arrests have been made so far. The crime scene remains sealed off as detectives probe what really happened.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

A Met Police spokesperson said:

“Officers are investigating shots fired in the Moorland Road area of Brixton just after 10pm last night. Nobody was taken to the hospital; there has been no arrest.”
