Night Out Turns Nasty Near Spital Street
A man in his 20s was left battered after a brutal early morning attack near Spital Street at around 4.30am on Saturday, April 2, 2022. What started as a fun night out with friends quickly exploded into violence.
Assault by Trio of Strangers
The victim was chatting with a friend when three unknown men approached. Suddenly, one punched him while another whipped him with a belt. The shocking attack didn’t stop there — the suspects then jumped in a car and allegedly tried to run the victim down. Thankfully, he sustained only minor injuries.
Police Hunt Key Witness and Suspects
Kent Police are digging into several leads and urgently want witnesses to come forward. They’re especially keen to speak with a woman spotted with the attackers. She is described as white, petite, about 5ft 4ins tall, and wearing blue jeans.
The suspects include:
- A white male with blonde hair
- A black male who was wielding the belt
