Late-Night Attack Outside Spital Street Pubs – Police Hunt Suspects
Man Attacked in Early Hours
A man in his 20s was enjoying a night out with friends when trouble struck near Spital Street at around 4.30am on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He was suddenly confronted by three strangers.
Brutal Assault With Fists and Belt
One of the men punched the victim, while another used a belt to lash him. After the assault, the suspects jumped into a car and allegedly drove it towards the victim, who thankfully only suffered minor injuries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Key Woman
Kent Police have launched an appeal for anyone who saw the incident to come forward. They are especially keen to speak with a woman spotted with the suspects. She is described as white, petite, around 5ft 4ins, wearing blue jeans.
The suspects include a white male with blonde hair and a black male who wielded the belt.
