Tragic Collision Claims Life of Motorcyclist in Chatham
A 36-year-old man died after a crash involving a grey Nissan X-Trail and an orange KTM 390 Duke motorbike on North Dane Way, Chatham. The collision happened at 6.05pm on Wednesday, 21 July 2021, near the junction with Lordswood Lane.
Police Launch Serious Collision Investigation
Emergency services pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. His family have been informed. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are probing the incident and appealing for witnesses.
Officers Urge Witnesses and Dash-Cam Owners to Come Forward
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash or has dash-cam footage of the moments leading up to it. In particular, they are keen to contact a driver of a white car who may have stopped at the scene.
