A 28-year-old woman has been arrested after a man was found dead in a Tamworth train station car park in the early hours.

Staffordshire Police were called to Victoria Road at around 2.20am following reports of an unresponsive man in the station car park. Paramedics arrived quickly but sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Woman Held as Forensics Swarm Scene
The 28-year-old woman was arrested at the location and remains in custody. Forensics teams are combing the area as British Transport Police take charge of the investigation given the incident happened on railway property.
Police Plea: Witnesses Needed
Detective Inspector Marvin Bruno said: “Our specialist family liaison officers are providing support to the victim’s family and our thoughts remain with them at this time.
“We are urging anyone with any information or anyone who witnessed events leading up to the man’s death to get in touch with us.”
