Woman Arrested After Spate of Burglaries in Gosport
Police hunting suspects behind a string of burglaries in Fareham and Gosport have arrested a woman as they release pictures of potentially stolen goods.
11 Burglaries Shock Local Towns
Since November, a wave of 11 break-ins has struck Fareham and Gosport. Detectives launched an appeal in February, and now they’re asking the public to help ID jewellery and other items that may have been nicked.
Suspects in Custody Amid Ongoing Investigation
- A 29-year-old woman from Locks Heath was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in police custody.
- A 35-year-old man from Gosport was also arrested but later released without charge. He’s still under investigation.
Police Plead: Spot Your Stolen Jewellery?
“Do you recognise any of these items of jewellery? You may not realise they’ve been stolen,” said Detective Sergeant Deborah Mason. “If you can’t find them and think they might be yours, please get in touch.”
