Police have launched an urgent appeal after a woman was attacked late on Friday night outside the Leonardo Hotel in Milton Keynes. The shocking assault happened between 10:30pm and 10:45pm near the bustling Browns restaurant on Midsummer Boulevard, right in the heart of the town’s nightlife scene.
Good Samaritan Assaulted After Helping Distressed Woman
According to Thames Valley Police, the victim was set upon after she approached another woman who looked distressed outside the hotel. The suspect — described as a white male, 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, with dark hair — fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim needed hospital treatment for her injuries.
“I have just been assaulted by a man outside the Leonardo hotel/Browns and in hospital. Anyone that witnessed it pls pls come forward! I took a picture but sadly it didn’t come out.”
The victim later took to social media to plead for witnesses. She described her attacker again and explained the assault happened after she intervened to check on the distressed woman. “This assault occurred in a busy area of central Milton Keynes, where many people were likely out for the evening. We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the suspect in the area, or has any relevant footage. Even the smallest detail could be vital.”
