Woman Sexually Assaulted in Alton Alley – Police Release E-Fit of Suspect
Police are hunting a man after a 21-year-old woman was seriously sexually assaulted in a dark alley in Alton earlier this month.
Attack in Chauntsingers Road
The victim was approached by three men near an alleyway on Chauntsingers Road between 11pm on Wednesday, November 16, and 1am the next day. One of the men then sexually assaulted her.
Police Release Distinctive E-Fit
Officers have issued an e-fit of the suspect, described as:
- White male, aged 45-50
- 5ft 8ins tall, large build with a round face
- Wrinkles around eyes and forehead
- Bump on bridge of nose
- Rotten-looking teeth and short stubble
- Spiky, greasy dark hair and very dirty hands
- Wearing a large coat with a low flat collar and dark jeans
Ongoing Investigation
Specialist officers are supporting the victim, and door-to-door enquiries have been carried out in the area. Police urge anyone with information or who recognises the man to come forward immediately.
