Tragedy on Kempshott Lane: Woman Dies After Horror Crash
Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash in Basingstoke left an elderly woman dead.
Fatal Crash on Kempshott Lane
Between 4.40pm and 5pm on Saturday 23 September, a black Audi A6 collided with a silver Nissan Micra at the junction of Kempshott Lane and Homesteads Road.
84-Year-Old Woman Dies in Hospital
The Nissan’s driver, an 84-year-old woman from Overton, was rushed to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries. Despite emergency treatment, she sadly passed away on Friday 6 October.
31-Year-Old Audi Driver Injured
The Audi driver, a 31-year-old man from Cambridgeshire, also suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Basingstoke Hospital.
