Armed police have descended on a Park in South East tonight following reports of shots being fired
Police were called to Bellingham Green on Bellingham Road in Lewisham, at about 7pm on Monday evening after reports of a suspected shooting in the area. The Met say ‘specialist armed officers attended’ and secured the area, with officers carrying out an area search despite their swift arrival no one was found injured nor a weapon. Enquiries are said to be ongoing.
