Fire crews called to rubbish ablaze in Dover

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a rubbish fire on Folkestone Road in Dover.

Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to a large pile of rubbish alight outside of a domestic property.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a main jet and water from a local hydrant to tackle the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
