Sheffield police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a reported incident of outraging public decency. In their ongoing investigations, officers have released an e-fit image of a person they would like to identify.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 23 May, at approximately 2.15pm on Dyke Vale Road. According to the report, a woman was walking when a yellow car pulled up alongside her. The driver of the vehicle initiated a conversation with the woman, and when she approached the car, he began to engage in a sexual act.
Upon informing the driver that she was contacting the police, he quickly fled the scene in his yellow car. While the woman did not sustain physical injuries, the incident left her shaken. She has collaborated with investigators to create the e-fit image of the suspect.
Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the image or possesses any information related to the incident to come forward. The assistance of the public is vital in helping to identify and locate the suspect.
