Three People taken to Hospitial following West Wight Road Crash
An Isle of Wight road remains closed this lunchtime following a Three vehicle collision in the West Wight area of the Island. Emergency services rushed to Middle Road in Freshwater just after 12.30 on Monday 26th March. Fire crews from Newport and Freshwater attended and used cutting equipment to free three persons who’d become trapped as a result of the collision. These have since been taken St Mary’s Hospital by the Isle of Wight Ambulance service. There injuries are not thought to be life changing. Police recovery contractors are expected to carry out a clear up operation within the next hour and the road is likely to be reopened
