A3 Closed Southbound near Farlington after vehicle rolls over

Police have closed the Southbound carriage of the A3 near to Farlington in Portsmouth after white Vauxhall Corsa vehicle has rolled over blocking three lanes this afternoon. Emergency services where called just after 1.20pm today (Saturday) to Langstone Road near to the A3 Junction 5 southbound for Drayton, Farlington and Bedhampton Read more: http:///www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/travel/update-tailbacks-as-two-men-injured-after-car-overturns-on-a3-m-1-7406073#ixzz4A0D0lOXE Police are warning motorists to expect major delays and drivers are being asked to seek alternative routes whilst the emergency service deal with the incident and the clean up operation. A number of fire crews have been sent to the incident from Waterloovile,Havant,Emsworth and a rescue unit from Cosham and further fire appliance from Cosham has been sent to the scene that is involving one vehicle. Two people have been assisted by the fire service and given emergency treatment by firefighter. The Two people have been left in the to the care of Paramedics from South Central ambulance service. Fire crews are now making the vehicle and the area safe it is not thought that the injuries of the drivers are serious. The Northbound carriage way of the A3 is also very slow due to drivers slowing to look at the incident on the Southbound carriageway Traffic has been reported to be queuing back to J3/B2150 Waterlooville.
