A double-decker bus driver was caught using a mobile phone while driving on the M25, prompting swift action from road safety officers.
Officers from the Vanguard Road Safety Team (VanguardRST) and Specialist Casualty Reduction Unit (SPCasualtyReduction) spotted the driver holding and interacting with a mobile phone while behind the wheel. The bus was being driven to Dartford with no passengers on board at the time of the incident.
Penalty Issued
The driver was immediately pulled over and issued with:
- 6 penalty points on their driving licence
- A £200 fine
