In a shocking turn of events, Daniel Balazs, 21, has been found guilty of the murder of 28-year-old Daniel Micska, a father of two, in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The brutal incident unfolded on August 9, 2023, when Balazs fatally stabbed Micska in the chest on Newton Street.
Jurors heard chilling details of the altercation, which erupted after Balazs whistled at a group of men and gestured for them to approach. The confrontation quickly escalated, culminating in the tragic death of Hungarian-born Micska. Prosecutor David Brooke revealed that Balazs had recently discovered that his former girlfriend, with whom he shared a child, was involved in a relationship with Micska.
