A murder probe launched following brutal stabbing in Stratford. https:///youtu.be/Pn4QCywrzVM Police have launched a murder probe after a man has been stabbed to death in Byford Close in Stratford. Officers were called late on Tuesday evening. Despite efforts of paramedics, the man was declared dead at the scene. Scene of crime officers have spent the evening in a large scene that is cordon off by Police tape. It is understood from a resident who asked not to be named that an argument took place in the park before the male was stabbed to death. A Met police spokesman said: murder investigation has been launched after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed in Stratford yesterday evening. Police were called by LAS to Byford Close, E15 at 18:45hrs on Tuesday, 3 September following a report of a fight in progress. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a teenage boy with stab injuries. Despite the very best efforts of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will take place in due course. There have been no arrests at this time. Officers remain at the scene. Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime are leading the investigation. A Section 60 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act has been implemented across the whole borough of Newham until 12:30hrs on Wednesday, 4 September.
