Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an allegation of rape in Dagenham. On Sunday, 4 October at approximately 2am a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in the area of Barnmead Road, Dagenham, RM9. She is currently being supported by specially trained officers. Police are conducting urgent enquiries to locate the male suspect involved. He is described as white, of slim build, approximately 5ft 8 inches tall and aged in his mid-20s. He was wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a cream round necked jumper, and spoke with an English accent.
