Thanet Wayne Kent was closed for closed coastbound between Whitstable and Herne Bay.
The closure was put into place following a concern for welfare.
A woman was reported to be on the bridge on the wrong side of the barriers. Officers and paramedics were called just after 9.30pm on Saturday evening.
