On Monday, October 14, 2024, Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a truck fire on the A289 Hasted Road in Wainscott, Rochester.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used high-pressure hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and Kent Police were also present at the scene.
