11-Year-Old Boy Plunges 20 Feet from St Vincent’s College Roof

Terrifying Fall in Gosport

An 11-year-old boy was rushed to hospital tonight after plummeting 20 feet from the roof of a disused building at St Vincent’s College leisure centre in Gosport.

The local youngster, out unsupervised, was reportedly jumping between buildings with friends just before 8pm when he took the horrific fall.

Serious Injuries and Emergency Response

He was airlifted to hospital suffering from a broken wrist and internal injuries. A rapid response paramedic, alongside the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance and a land ambulance, stormed the scene.

The air ambulance touched down on the nearby football pitch on Forton Road to save precious minutes.

Safety Concerns Raised

Officials are now investigating how the boy accessed the dangerous rooftop. Locals have expressed shock at the incident, warning parents to keep a close eye on children around the site.
