12-Year-Old Boy Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash in Havant
A 12-year-old boy was left injured after a hit-and-run collision in Havant on Saturday evening. Police are urgently hunting the driver responsible.
Child Struck at Busy Havant Roundabout
The accident happened between 5.12pm and 5.22pm on December 2 at the roundabout linking Purbrook Way, Stockheath Lane, Stockheath Road, Bedhampton Way, and Dunsbury Way.
A silver estate car collided with the boy, who suffered a cut to his head along with grazes and bruises. The driver briefly stopped to check on the child but then fled without leaving any details.
Driver Description and Police Appeal
The driver is described as a white man with a beard. Two passengers were also reportedly in the car.
PC Andrew Hector said: “We are keen to identify the car and speak with the driver to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the collision. If you know the driver, or this is you, then please call us immediately. In addition, if you witnessed this collision then please get in touch.”
