New Channel, Same Intense Action
After leaving More4, the series has found a new home on Channel 4. The first gripping episode airs at 8 PM on Tuesday, January 30 – so don’t miss it! Over five weeks, cameras follow eight ambulance teams from Stoke, Stafford, and Willenhall tackling 12-hour shifts packed with unpredictable emergencies.
More Than Just Crashes: The Full Frontline Story
Nathan Hudson, Director of Performance and Improvement, says the series shows “the huge range of cases that our staff respond to.” It’s not just big crashes and traumas — crews deal with complex medical problems, mental health issues, and social care challenges.
“When our crews start their shift, they literally have no idea what the day will bring – it’s one of the reasons they like the job so much; the variety,” Hudson explains.
“It’s a great way of showing the public just what a brilliant job our staff do every day. Our ambulance crews work incredibly hard saving lives and showing compassion as they provide patients with the best care possible across the West Midlands.”
