Tragic M5 Crash in Worcester Claims Man’s Life
A man has died following a horror single-vehicle crash on the M5 motorway near Worcester this morning.
Van Slams into Central Reservation and Tree
West Midlands Ambulance Service was alerted to the smash on the southbound carriageway near Junction 8, Stresham, at 8.41am on Monday. The vehicle reportedly hit the central reservation before leaving the road and crashing into a tree.
Emergency Crews Battle to Save Driver
Ambulance crews, a paramedic officer, and a Midlands Air Ambulance critical care doctor rushed to the scene. Police, who arrived first, had already started CPR on the critically injured driver.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman said: “WMAS crews worked closely with colleagues from South Western Ambulance Service to administer advanced life support. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man, and he was confirmed deceased at the scene shortly after.”
The collision has shaken the local community, with emergency services continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
