Chaos hit the A21 motorway near Sevenoaks yesterday as emergency services shut down both carriageways for more than three hours. The closure came after serious welfare concerns were raised about a woman spotted near the busy road.

At 4:37 PM on March 15, 2024, police and paramedics were scrambled to the A21 following reports about the woman’s wellbeing. The motorway was closed in both directions between the A25 Sevenoaks and A225 Morleys Roundabout to allow safe access for emergency crews.
