Massive Blaze Erupts in Paddington Building

Half the ground floor of a five-storey block on Craven Road, Paddington, is ablaze, London Fire Brigade confirmed at 5.30pm on Thursday.

Firefighters Rush to Scene with Ten Engines

The brigade was alerted at around 4.40pm. Ten fire engines have been deployed from Paddington, Kensington, North Kensington, Euston, and other nearby stations to tackle the fierce blaze.

Roads Shut as Firefighters Battle Flames

Authorities have closed roads surrounding the fire zone. An LFB spokesperson urged the public to avoid the area:

“Road closures are in place, and people are asked to avoid the area as much as possible.”

So far, the cause of the fire remains a mystery.
