Armed Police seized this from the streets of lawless London
Armed police officers from the Met seized this fully automatic and loaded assault rifle following a stop and search of a vehicle in Peckham, south London on Friday evening. Police say Two men have been arrested. Officers had to taser one of those detained after he resisted arrest. Officers recovered an Armi Jaegar AP80 .22 rifle with a loaded magazine from the boot of one of the vehicles. This is believed to be a fully automatic assault rifle.
