Blaze Hits Richmond Home: Six Fire Engines in Action
Last night, a huge fire ripped through a three-storey detached house on Kings Road, Richmond. Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters raced to the scene to battle the flames.
Fire Tears Through Basement and Upper Floors
The fire severely damaged parts of the basement, ground floor, and first floor. Luckily, two people managed to escape before crews arrived. Authorities confirmed there were no injuries.
Hours-Long Effort to Extinguish Flames
The Fire Brigade received the emergency call at 9pm and fought the blaze until just before midnight, finally dousing the fire at 11:57pm. Firefighters from Richmond, Kingston, Chiswick, and nearby stations joined the intense battle.
