Millie Gibson Snags Role as Doctor Who’s New Companion Ruby Sunday
Millie Gibson is stepping into the TARDIS as Ruby Sunday, the latest companion to the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa. The 18-year-old star will make her debut in the Doctor Who festive special due this Christmas 2023.

Best known for playing Kelly Neelan on Coronation Street, Millie already boasts serious credentials. She scooped the Best Young Performer Award at this year’s British Soap Awards and has appeared in shows like Butterfly (ITV) and 1, Lies and Records (BBC).

“Whilst still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion,” Millie said. “It is a gift of a role, and a dream come true.
