Bin collections in Hampshire are getting a festive shake-up after the Boxing Day bank holiday. Expect your rubbish to be picked up a day later than usual thanks to the closure of the county’s waste facilities.

Bin Collection Delays: What You Need to Know

  • Monday 26 Dec: Collection moves to Tuesday 27 Dec
  • Tuesday 27 Dec: Collection moves to Wednesday 28 Dec
  • Wednesday 28 Dec: Collection moves to Thursday 29 Dec
  • Thursday 29 Dec: Collection moves to Friday 30 Dec
  • Friday 30 Dec: Collection moves to Saturday 31 Dec

Remember, Friday collections will take place on Saturday 31 December. Normal bin rounds kick off again from Monday 2 January 2023.

Garden Waste Collection Suspended Over Festive Period

Garden waste collections are on hold from 26 December 2022 through to 6 January 2023, so hold tight until services resume.
