Body Found in Dunorlan Park Shocks Tunbridge Wells

Early morning dog walkers in Tunbridge Wells were stunned after a body was discovered in Dunorlan Park on Thursday.

Police Called Just Before Dawn

Kent Police were alerted just before 5am and quickly launched a full investigation. The grim find sparked a major police response in the usually peaceful park.

Park Sealed Off Near Boating Lake

A local couple, who walk their dog every morning, told reporters the entrance on Pembury Road was sealed with police tape. A blue and white tent was pitched near the boating lake, adding to the eerie scene.

An unnamed witness said, “It was pretty unnerving. I saw three officers carrying a tent and poles down to the lake. Normally, I’m out early with the dog, but this morning the area was all taped off with police cars and a forensic van parked nearby.”

Scene Cleared by Mid-Morning

The police cordon was lifted shortly before 10.30am, but details about the victim or cause of death remain under wraps. Kent Police have been contacted for further comment.
