Body Found in Kyle Beck River Confirmed as Missing Man Luke Willetts
A grim discovery was made at 9.50am today when a member of the public spotted what appeared to be a man’s body in the Kyle Beck River at Tollerton.
Police Identify Body as Missing Luke Willetts
Officers soon located the body and, while formal ID is pending, the family of missing man Luke Willetts have been informed of the find.
As a result, the police have cancelled their appeal to find Luke and thanked the public for all their helpful tips.
No Suspicious Circumstances, Family Privacy Requested
A post-mortem will take place in due course. So far, police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Luke’s death.
“Our thoughts are with Luke’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time,” a police spokesperson said. “We ask that their privacy is respected.”
