Passersby Spot Body in River Yare
Members of the public quickly alerted police after spotting the body in the river that runs through Norfolk. While formal ID checks are still underway, Jill’s family have been informed of the grim news.
Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious, bringing some closure to a tense investigation.
Last Seen with Walking Stick Near Home
Doorbell camera footage shows Jill walking near her Sarah William Close home, steadying herself with a walking stick. Witnesses say she wore a blue coat, navy trousers, navy trainers, and carried what looked like a yellow bag.
The search effort involved police dogs, drones, and a helicopter, highlighting how seriously authorities took the alarming disappearance.
