Body Found in Wargrave: Andrew Southworth Believed Dead
Police hunting for missing 25-year-old Andrew Southworth have made a grim discovery in Wargrave, Berkshire. His body was found on Tuesday evening after a two-day search.
Tragic Discovery in Local Woods
Andrew vanished on Tuesday, June 18. Officers combed the area before locating a man’s body near Highfield Lane shortly before 5pm on Thursday, June 20. While formal ID is pending, the victim is thought to be Andrew Southworth.
Police Confirm No Suspicion
“Sadly, following searches carried out by officers, a man’s body has been found,” said Detective Constable Maggie Bruce of Reading police.
“His next of kin have been informed. I would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and assisted us in our investigation. The case is not being treated as suspicious.”
Residents are urged to stay calm as police conclude their enquiries into the tragic death in Wargrave.
