Brighton Christmas Festival Kicks Off with a Bang! Mayor Lizzie Deane snipped the ribbon this afternoon (18th November) to launch the city’s festive season. Expect festive fun with an Après-Ski Bar, a giant Ferris wheel, and a bustling Christmas Market ready to get you in the holiday spirit.

Festive Fun Returns for Year Two

This marks the second year Brighton & Hove has hosted the Christmas Festival right in the heart of the city. Market stalls are packed with Christmas essentials: British cheeses, festive drinks to toast your dinner, handmade jewellery, and charming gift trinkets perfect for stocking fillers.

Feast and Fuel Your Winter Wander

  • Hungry? Food stalls offer tasty treats to keep you energised while you explore.
  • Caffeine addicts can thank Trading Post Coffee, Brighton’s local roastery just steps away on Sydney Street.
  • Not a coffee fan? Hot chocolate is on offer—though beware, it will set you back £6!

Must-Visit & Open Till Christmas Eve

This neat little festival is a top spot for a festive stroll or a spin on the Ferris wheel. It’s open daily until Christmas Eve, so there’s plenty of time to soak up the yuletide cheer.

Feeling thirsty after all that? Just a stone’s throw away, L’atelier Du Vin is an award-winning cocktail bar that deserves a visit. Sussex.News gave it rave reviews recently—check them out here!
