Woman Critical After Hit-and-Run on Higher Cambridge Street

Just after midnight on Sunday, a woman in her 30s was struck by a grey Volkswagen Polo on Higher Cambridge Street, near Boundary Street West.

Emergency services rushed her to hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Police Launch Serious Collision Probe

PC Phil Drummond from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the woman and her family as we continue our investigation. The vehicle’s driver is cooperating, but we urge anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.”
