Chaos in Bamford Close! Police are investigating after a violent brawl in Bamford Close ended with a car set ablaze on Whitehawk Road.
Fight Sparks Car Fire
On Thursday evening, just after 6:15pm, emergency services rushed to Bamford Close following reports of a fight involving multiple people. Witnesses saw three suspects fleeing the scene in a vehicle, which was later found burning on nearby Whitehawk Road.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.
Firefighters Douse Blazing Car
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service crews acted fast to extinguish the flames before the fire could spread to nearby properties.
Police have yet to confirm if the fire was started deliberately but are probing all angles as inquiries continue.
Police Hunt Suspects and Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are scouring the area for suspects linked to both the fight and the vehicle fire.
A Sussex Police spokesman said:
“We are investigating a disturbance in Bamford Close and a related vehicle fire in Whitehawk Road. While no injuries have been reported, we’re determined to identify everyone involved and piece together what happened. Anyone with information should contact us immediately.”
