Brighton Horror: Teen Raped and Woman Assaulted on Seafront
Appeal for Witnesses After Shocking Beach Attacks
Police are hunting three men after a teenage girl was raped and a woman sexually assaulted on Brighton beach. The terrifying attacks happened around 6am on Sunday, 8 September, in the stretch of beach between the two piers. Both victims are known to each other.
Detectives Launch Urgent Investigation
Detective Sergeant Paul Heal revealed officers are supporting the victims with specially trained staff while multiple enquiries are underway.
“We are working hard to find those responsible and ensure they are held accountable for their actions,” said DS Heal.
Increased Police Patrols Along Brighton Seafront
In response, police have boosted patrols along the Brighton seafront and are collaborating with partner agencies to maintain safety. Officers want anyone who recognises the suspects or has information to come forward immediately.
