Firefighters Rescue Man from Building Collapse
West Midlands Fire Service rushed three crews to the scene after reports of a structural collapse on Napier Road.
A spokesperson said: “We currently have three fire and rescue crews in Napier Road, Wolverhampton, where part of a building has apparently collapsed.”
Nearby Dudley Road properties were evacuated as a precaution while the road remains closed. Firefighters helped one man from the rubble, who fortunately escaped without serious injuries.
Ambulance Crew Called But No Injuries Found
The West Midlands Ambulance Service responded quickly to reports of a fire near Dudley Road at 11:37 AM. Paramedics, officers, and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended.
“On arrival, there were no patients found and we were stood down,” a spokesperson confirmed.

As investigations continue, emergency teams are managing the scene with safety a top priority. Locals should avoid the area until further notice.
