Firefighters Battle Blaze at Maidstone Cabin

Kent Fire and Rescue rushed to a cabin fire on King Edward Road, Maidstone, late on Friday, September 13, 2024. The alarm was raised at 9:49pm, sending three fire engines to tackle the flames.

Fire Spreads to Nearby Structures

When crews arrived, the blaze had jumped from the cabin to a nearby shed, fence, and some surrounding trees. Firefighters quickly pulled out high-pressure hose reel jets and main jets to bring the fire under control.

No Injuries as Cause Remains a Mystery

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire crews worked hard to prevent the fire spreading further and cleared the scene by 10:55pm.
