Car Blaze Sparks M20 Chaos Near Ashford
A car fire on the M20 sent Kent Fire and Rescue into action early Sunday morning. The blaze broke out on September 1, 2024, between Junctions 10 and 11 heading coastbound near Ashford.
Firefighters Race to Douse Flames
At around 6:10 AM, emergency crews were called. Two fire engines rolled up fast. Firefighters, suited in breathing apparatus, tackled the flames using high-pressure hose reel jets. They had the fire under control and fully extinguished by 6:33 AM.
