Charlotte Church Shockingly “Murdered” on Celebrity Traitors
Welsh singer Charlotte Church was dramatically “murdered” just minutes into the latest Celebrity Traitors episode on October 16. Comedian Alan Carr, TV host Jonathan Ross, and singer Cat Burns schemed to boot her out while Charlotte stayed upbeat.
“I thought I was going to be murdered. I’m outspoken at the round table, and I’m outspoken with my opinions, not that I was much of a threat to the Traitors,” Charlotte said after her exit. “But as the game progressed, I hope I would’ve been. I hope that’s why they’ve gotten rid of me. Well played Traitors.”
Joe Wilkinson Latest to Get the Boot
Not long after Charlotte’s shocking exit, comedian Joe Wilkinson became the latest victim in Thursday’s nail-biting episode. Alan, Jonathan, and Cat chose him during the turret ceremony.
Opening his fate-sealing wax letter, Joe admitted: “I sort of expected it because I was quite lippy last night.”
Fans flooded X (formerly Twitter) reacting to Joe’s eviction:
- “Oh nooooooooo Joe!!!! When it comes down to the crunch crunch, gutted for him! #CelebrityTraitors.”
- “How could they do this? They have ruined the Joemance!! #CelebrityTraitors.”
Mark Bonnar Booted After Historic Tie
Earlier in the show, actor Mark Bonnar was ousted following a rare tie vote. After two tense rounds, host Claudia Winkleman revealed fate would decide who left—Mark or historian David Olusoga.
“Players, it is still a draw, therefore we will now leave this banishment to the hands of fate,” Claudia announced.
