A fiery crane incident has slammed three lanes shut on the M25 in Kent, causing gridlock for miles. The blaze erupted on the anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 6 Godstone Interchange and Junction 5 Chevening Interchange.

Kent Fire & Rescue teams rushed to the scene and doused the flames quickly. But the lanes remain closed while crews work to recover the damaged crane. The road will also need repairs once the crane is removed.
